Dr Aman Phull qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sheffield in 2011. He has since built a distinguished career spanning both NHS and private dentistry. This includes nine years as practice owner and Principal Dentist at Chalfont Dentist in Chalfont St Peter.
Dr Aman Phull's clinical practice now focuses on two areas in which he holds dedicated postgraduate qualifications: Endodontics, and Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He holds a PGDip in Endodontics (2026) and an MSc in Aesthetic Dentistry awarded with Distinction (2023), the latter with a dissertation focused specifically on the monitoring of tooth wear.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Aman Phull contributes to endodontic teaching at FreshDental Institute, collaborating with SimplyEndo to train and support dentists in advanced root canal techniques.
His work is now dedicated to private endodontic and restorative dentistry, seeing patients directly and accepting referrals from fellow dental professionals for complex cases.

University of Sheffield
Graduated 2011. The start of a career that would go on to span NHS and private practice, postgraduate research, and clinical teaching.
From routine cases to the most complex — calcified canals, retreatment, resorption, perforations, and microsurgery.
Diagnosis, monitoring, and full rehabilitation of worn dentitions using evidence-based techniques.

Actively involved in endodontic education, working with SimplyEndo to deliver practical endodontic training at FreshDental Institute.
Dr Aman Phull uses a range of technologies that significantly improve the precision, accuracy and predictability of dental treatment — from endodontics through to restorative and digital dentistry.
A dental operating microscope provides high-powered magnification and illumination of the inside of the tooth. This allows Dr Aman Phull to identify and treat canal anatomy that would be invisible to the naked eye — including calcified canals, missed canals, and fractures. The result is more thorough cleaning, greater precision, and better treatment outcomes.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) provides detailed 3D imaging of teeth and the surrounding bone. Unlike conventional X-rays, CBCT allows the full root canal system to be visualised in three dimensions — often revealing anatomy that would otherwise be missed. This improves diagnosis, treatment planning, and the predictability of outcomes across all endodontic cases.
The practice is equipped with both the iTero Lumina and Dentsply PrimeScan intraoral scanners, enabling highly accurate digital impressions. Scans can be used for oral health assessments, treatment planning, and as part of a fully digital restorative workflow. Digital impressions eliminate the need for traditional putty moulds, improving both patient comfort and accuracy.
Using a CEREC milling machine and SprintRay 3D printer, the practice can design and produce crowns and composite restorations in a single appointment. This eliminates the need for temporaries and multiple visits, offering patients a faster, more convenient experience without compromising quality.
Alongside clinical practice, Dr Aman Phull assists with endodontic teaching at FreshDental Institute in collaboration with SimplyEndo. This commitment to education reflects his belief in raising the standard of endodontic care across the profession, and ensures his own clinical approach remains firmly grounded in the most current evidence-based techniques.
The sessions are hands-on, giving students the opportunity to develop practical skills. Dr Aman Phull shares his experience of delivering endodontics in a general practice setting — focusing on techniques and decision-making that are directly applicable to everyday clinical practice.
